A response to chapter 5 and the 10 principal element, the goal: to be user friendly. (Journal on my experience in business )

Business is an online game, you need to be proficient, well organized, and attune to what is going on. When building a business, one thing you'll realize from gathering statistics and your personal experience is the importance of delivering a seamless, user-friendly experience. Of course, not everything will be perfect but the goal is to make it seem that way, it brings a professional and positive feel to your business.
In my own experience being an entrepreneur for two years now and have noticed the importance of a simple fact I will share. To gain clients and promote a positive response to my brand I need to make my business and specifically my web presence an enjoyable and helpful experience for my clients. My goal is to have a clear and simple message while also providing the answers to any questions I client or future clients might ask. I want them to feel as though they are having a face to face conversation with me, where they know me, my brand, feel heard and helped. So, as I have started to make my website, I have thought to myself how can I possibly do this?
One of the first things I did when I started to build my brand and website was deciding on a colour scheme. It is simple but it can say a lot about your business, style, and can choose the mood you want to set. I decided to go with softer and warmer tones as I wanted it to feel simple clean and homey at the same time. The colours fit with my editing style and provide a professional and calming look which I felt would draw the type of clients I wish to attract. After all, the purpose is to design with your goal clients in mind. Next, to provide a seamless user experience I decided that I want to have everything clearly accessible and easy to find on my website. Clients can become frustrated when it is not easy to find what they are looking for to plan their event or shoot and I want to eliminate this. After I clearly labeled and laid everything out I wanted to provide a commonly asked question section and a tips section on the website to engage with customers in a way that makes them feel heard and helps them understand what to expect.
The structure of the website is vital in delivering this seamless experience. The fact that everything from invoices to inquiries, payment logs to galleries can all be sent and accessed from the same place eliminating the use of many different platforms. This feature allows me to keep all my data and bookings in one place. Keeping me aware of what is happening in my business and deliver a seamless service to my customers. Lastly, I continually chat with other more established photographers than myself to compare tips tricks and gain perspective on what works best for their business. All these factors work together to build the brand reputation and customer care I want to provide.
